Senior Manager, Security
YOUR TASKS

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor security policies, procedures and practices to safeguard DHL employees, customers’ shipments, company assets and information against loss, damage or incident
- Advise Country management of any possible risks, threats or opportunities and provide feasible solutions
- Liaise closely with local, regional and global teams to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy and that all Country security policies are compatible and standardized
- Facilitate continuous review and improvement of process and infrastructure to ensure all security risks are minimized
- Collaborate with a variety of departments to manage a broad range of security activities in the areas of investigations in related to shipment processing, working practices, facility security, systems and equipment, etc. Ensure thorough and professional investigation that the causes of incidents are identified and appropriate measures are taken to minimize and prevent re-occurrence
- Ensure compliance with aviation/cargo security regulations and internal global/regional security policies and procedures
- Work closely with law enforcement, regulatory authorities as well as industry groups and represent the company at various levels at such meetings
- Provide security awareness training to all frontline operations staff
YOUR PROFILE
- University graduate
- Post Graduate qualifications in a security or risk management related field would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in law enforcement/security profession of which at least five years at a supervisory level
- Solid experience in HKSAR disciplinary department and/or working experience in air express/logistics industries will be an advantage
- Membership of professional bodies such as the American Society for Industrial Security or Asia Crisis & Security Group
- Holder ofIATA/FIATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Certificatewould be an asset
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage
- Highly self-motivated, confident, well-organized and analytical
- Customer focus with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and under pressure
