Transport Planning Manager
Pay Rate: £41,000
Grade: RCS K
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Location: Coventry - CV23 0XF
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Planning & Optimisation Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- To manage the long range planning and forecasting of volume, fleet and resource for the R1 network alongside the cross border planning team.
- Lead the EU Planning team with the operational delivery of service KPIs and Financial results.
- Lead the planning and forecasting for the full network including communication with the customer.
- Responsible for delivering an integrated network approach with significant cost reduction.
- Responsible for carrier management, engagement and regular reviews of performance for the Subcontractor base.
