Operations & Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of planning strategies to ensure a seamless supply chain and operational model that aligns with targeted business volumes.
- Oversee daily transport operations across multiple sites to meet customer service, quality, and financial objectives.
- Monitor and adjust operational capacities in response to changes in business volumes and requirements, ensuring profitable service delivery.
- Identify new business opportunities and support business development through comprehensive business case preparation and review.
- Identify opportunities for best-in-class operational practices, focusing on continuous improvement and enhanced productivity.
- Manage team performance through target development and training plans.
- Collaborate to define operations strategy that aligns with business goals and corporate policies.
- Support the development and implementation of large-scale projects and partnerships that significantly impact our operations.
- Foster a collaborative environment with sales and customer service teams to maximize revenue opportunities.
Here's what we need from you:
- Proven experience in a complex large-scale transport planning role is essential.
- Experience in integrating planning for new business growth into existing networks.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Transport Management Systems.
- A customer-centric approach.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate financial management.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure while maintaining focus on objectives.
