We are in the process of selecting a Station Manager to join our team, a key position within our organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the station, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in all services provided. We are looking for a committed leader with exceptional management skills and a strong background in the industry, who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams and optimize available resources, always maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, direct, and control DHL Aviation activities within the assigned area efficiently, profitably, and safely, following network guidelines and established regulations.
  • Represent the interests of DHL Aviation in legal and regulatory matters when necessary.
  • Maintain and report statistical information in a timely manner as required.
  • Ensure that human resources and training activities are implemented in the assigned stations or areas.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's goals and objectives while staying within the planned budget.
  • Provide legal and regulatory representation on behalf of DHL Aviation and its affiliated airlines as required.
  • Develop and maintain business agreements with agents, clients, and interline partners.
  • Manage the implementation of budgeted plans at the station, ensuring that controllable costs remain within budget.
  • Ensure that daily operational activities and reports are conducted according to the company's requirements.
  • Verify that all employees of the company comply with established standards and requirements, promoting adherence, best practices, and compliance with current legal guidelines.
  • Ensure that service standards are met and that customer satisfaction is maintained, thereby preserving the corporate image.
  • Develop potential new services and seek business growth opportunities.
  • Intervene when negative trends arise and develop corrective actions for specific markets.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of Regulations and Standards (preferably in aviation).
  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and conduct financial analysis.
  • Skill in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting statistical and operational data for decision-making.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Skill in making timely decisions based on data analysis and strategic considerations.
