Assistant/Deputy Manager - OFR Field Operations

Key activities

• Monitor / supervise carting of goods to ensure seaworthy condition
• Monitoring stuffing of containers to ensure shipment handled in seaworthy condition
• Crisis management
• Co-ordinating with CFS operators for day to day operations
• Co-ordinating with Transporters for placement of containers in timely manner, so as to ensure timely connectivity of cargo
• Receiving hub shipments from Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune in GDL CFS and plan those shipments in first available vessel and to avoid lead time in CFS.
• Co-ordinate with surveyor to conduct survey of hub shipments to ensure they are in sea worthy condition
• Ensure timely moments of all stuffed container into port for desired vessel
• Handover documents to carrier in time for facilitating loadings
• Obtain mate receipts for all shipments being handled from respective carrier in timely manner and dispatch to concerned office.
• Update Gateway Manager on regulatory changes happening with Customs / CFS
• Vet Vendor bills for timely payment
• Work on cost synergies to reduce operational cost in possible manner

Expected years of experience

• Minimum 5-6 yrs in the Industry

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate / Equivalent from a reputed Institute.
