The Role

As the Country Manager, you will be an entrepreneurial leader responsible for overseeing all operations within the UK. Your mission will be to align logistics processes with our business goals while driving the growth of Monta in this market. You will build and lead a dynamic team that ensures successful order fulfillment and delivery, operating with full P&L responsibility as if you were managing your own business.

Your role will involve actively seeking growth opportunities, fostering innovation, and maintaining a strong business acumen. You will develop and adapt strategic plans as needed, prioritizing safety and well-being for your team, suppliers, customers, and visitors. Leveraging your local market knowledge and conducting thorough market analysis, you will identify optimal positioning for Monta and continuously refine strategies to meet growth targets and customer demands.

Customer relations and satisfaction will be central to your responsibilities, as you engage with clients to ensure ongoing success. You will identify areas for improvement and expansion, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each customer. Building strong partnerships with local providers and suppliers will be essential to achieving your growth objectives, ensuring they are equipped and empowered to meet expectations while addressing any performance issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance growth and market share for Monta's products in the UK.
  • Build, empower, and train a capable team to drive Monta's success in the country.
  • Ensure financial performance aligns with budget expectations, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create impactful campaigns that resonate with local customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and local partners to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, effectively recruiting and onboarding new customers.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Who Are You?

  • Professional education level or equivalent.
  • Extensive managerial experience in eCommerce or logistics, with a strong focus on growth.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of the local eCommerce market and are fluent in the language of the industry.
  • You lead by example, are approachable, and actively contribute to your team's success.
  • You are passionate about developing people and take the initiative to create a supportive work environment.
