We are looking for an Aviation Commercial Professional Customer Accounting based in Hong Kong. The purpose of this role is to provide support for the collection and dispute resolution for our Aviation Commercial team and ensure a high-quality Customer Accounting service.How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
- Contact GSAs / Direct Customers via email or call to collect outstanding payments. Educate customers to pay on time according to the agreed payment term.
- Negotiate payment plans to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Provide professional customer service by addressing customer request to resolve dispute.
- Ensure billing practices comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Perform dunning activities and dispute resolution according to internal controls and local regulations.
- Conduct credit checks via credit rating agency and review credit limit offered.
- Prepare reports on delinquent account status, dispute turn around time, and cash flow forecast.
- Work closely with commercial team to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
- Propose strategies to improve collection efficiency.
- Support team leader or manager on finance operations, reporting, and ad-hoc assignments as required.
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in collections, Accounts Receivable.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. Professional accreditation in accountancy is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and Office 365 applications; advanced skills for MS Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS.
- Knowledge in SAP is a definite advantage. Experience in Cognos and Data Analytic tools (Power BI) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - sensitive to numbers, spots anomalies and discrepancies, identify trends.
- Strong conflict-resolution and negotiation skills.
- Has good formal presentation skills, communicates ideas in clear, concise, and logical manner to all levels. Understands and uses business languages.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and high quality.
- Responds positively to changing requirements, adapts to changing priorities.
- Proactively provides progress updates to stakeholders.
- Have a strong sense of compliance.
- Self-motivated to acquire business knowledge to address different enquiries.
