MHE OPERATOR - RT
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the reach truck for moving and storing pallets in high storage racks. • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials. -Inventory and Stock Management • Assist in the proper storage of materials to prevent damage. -Retrieve items as required for dispatch or redistribution, ensuring accurate placement. -Help maintain accurate inventory records. - Inspect Equipment • Conduct daily pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure the reach truck is functioning properly. - Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions immediately. - Compliance with Safety Standards - Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. - Adhere to company-specific safety protocols when operating the machinery. - Assist in Loading and Unloading - Support loading and unloading operations for incoming and outgoing trucks. - Ensure that goods are properly secured before transport. - Record and maintain logs of material movements and inventory, ensuring data accuracy in warehouse management systems (WMS). - Document any equipment or safety issues. - Coordinate with Warehouse Teams •Requirements
- Male or female - Valid Certification/License • Possess a valid reach truck operating license or certification according to local regulatory requirements. - Be familiar with safety standards and protocols related to material handling equipment (MHE). - Proficient Reach Truck Operation - Skillful in maneuvering the reach truck in confined spaces and at various heights. • Experience in stacking, retrieving, and moving pallets safely and accurately.
