Health Safety and Environment/ Inspector
Responsibilities
1. Conducting Site Inspections: Regularly visit various project sites within a designated region or across multiple locations. 2. Identifying Non-Compliance: Observe and identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and instances of non-compliance with HSE standards. 3. Issue a HSE Violations Ticket for those violators. 4. Documenting Findings: Thoroughly document all observations, non-compliance issues, and recommendations for corrective actions. 5. Proactive Hazard Identification: Actively identify potential hazards, including those that may not be immediately apparent. 6. Recommending Mitigation Measures: Propose appropriate control measures and preventative actions to mitigate identified risks. 7. Reporting and Tracking Incidents: Prepare incident reports and track incident trends to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement. 8. Sharing Best Practices: Share best practices and lessons learned from different sites to foster continuous improvement across the organization. 9. Providing HSE Training: Deliver or assist in delivering HSE training sessions to site personnel, ensuring they are aware of safety procedures and best practices. 10. Conduct a regular on-site safety toolbox talks with driver and crew. 11. Pre-Assess transportation vendors for the new project/customer account. 12. Implement ride along program/ BBS Monitoring 13. Act as a master trainer for Transport Safety Training including MESH, Defensive Driving and site orientation.Requirements
• at least 3 years of experience related to OSH • at least 2 years of experience as OSH Trainer • with driving experience (at least private vehicle) • Graduate of any course bachelor's degree • BOSH Training Certificate • TOT Training Certificate • LCM Training Certificate • with valid LTO Professional or non pro driver's license
