Tasks:

 

We are seeking a driven professional to join the Global CCO Program Office for the CCO DHL and Head of CSI. This pivotal individual will oversee major projects within CSI and support the implementation of CSI's overall strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Major Projects: Take charge of significant initiatives relevant to CSI and ensure their successful execution.
  • Facilitate Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with all CSI sectors and functions to ensure effective strategy implementation across the business.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that align with corporate or divisional strategies and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain trusted business partner relationships with key stakeholders to enhance business growth and protect against competitive pressures.
 

The role will focus heavily on value-add and positioning the company for revenue growth and market share expansion, while also strengthening its ability to withstand competitive threats.

   

Principal Accountabilities:

 
  • Develop and Align Presentations:
  • Create management presentations and independently align with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Lead Review Meetings:
  • Prepare and facilitate review meetings with Business Units, ensuring follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Manage CSI Global Senior Management Team (GSMT) Meetings:
  • Ensure successful execution and smooth coordination of key CSI internal management meetings, such as Global Senior Management Team (GSMT) or Sector Management Meetings (SMM).
  • Track and Follow-Up on Key Meetings:
  • Manage follow-ups for various critical meetings (e.g. BU reviews), tracking tasks and actions taken.
  • Support, Consult and Prepare for CCO Attendance:
  • Provide content consulting and support in preparing the CCO for global and corporate meetings.
  • Plan and Execute Key Meetings & Presentations:
  • Plan, prepare, and oversee the execution of key meetings and presentations for the CCO & Head of CSI.
  • Support CCO, Head of CSI, and VP Strategy & Commercial Development
  • Assist in all aspects of their roles, ensuring seamless operations and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Execute Project Management Plans:
  • Implement project management processes and plans to ensure the successful execution of global, CSI-wide strategic projects and programs.
  • Ensure Program Quality and Timeliness:
  • Draft plans to deliver programs that meet required quality standards and are completed on time.
  • Track Program Progress and Milestones:
  • Monitor and report on program milestones, providing regular updates on progress against the plan.
  • Liaise with Senior Stakeholders:
  • Act as a key liaison for internal communications with senior stakeholders across CSI, BUs, and Corporate.
  • Understand Major CSI Processes:
  • Have a deep understanding of all major processes and activities within CSI.
  • Support Annual Projects:
  • Support key annual projects by ensuring clear communication, providing roadmap visibility, and offering process advice.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 
  • Educational Background:
  • University degree with 3-5 years of commercial experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree) in a leadership capacity.
  • Extensive Industry Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in the logistics industry with expertise in global supply chains and business operations.
  • Global Program and Project Leadership:
  • Proven track record of driving large-scale, global programs and projects, ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution.
  • DHL Business Models Expertise:
  • Comprehensive understanding of DHL's business models, leveraging them to drive business performance and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Customer and Business Development Focus:
  • Ability to understand customer needs, align DHL capabilities, and drive business development across a broad range of express and logistics products.
  • Executive-Level Communication:
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence senior management, stakeholders, and C-suite executives.
  • Advanced Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Highly skilled in analyzing complex situations, solving problems creatively, and making data-driven decisions to drive business results.
  • Cultural Sensitivity:
  • International exposure with the ability to thrive in diverse teams across regions while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
