Being close to customers for optimal service is what you enjoy doing? Then the position of Key Account Specialist at DHL Freight in Waalwijk is for you!


This is what you will do:


In our Customer Service department, you will be the key contact for one of our top customers (Chinese originated Global player in the Networking market). In this special position you will work at the location of the customer, so you can give an even better service to them. You will also work together in a team of 40 Customer Service employees working at our locations in Eindhoven or Houten. In this position your excellent communicative, commercial and administrative skills will be claimed. You are a real relationship manager and know how to be proactive. You speak Mandarin and you are able to communicate in verbal and written in English - Dutch is an advantage but not essential.
As Key Account Specialist you are the first point of contact for our client and you take care of this client from A-Z in the transport of their goods. You build a long-term relationship of trust, and you are responsible for optimal customer satisfaction!


This is what you can do:

  • You proactively identify problems, detect needs and offer solutions;
  • You know how to ask for help and if necessary;
  • You provide customer specific reports and performance reports;
  • Thinking along for the benefit of the system optimization of the customer is not foreign to you;
  • You liaise with local international customer offices;
  • To get things done you will have to switch quickly between customer and colleagues; but that is a challenge for you!

This is you:

For this position we are looking for a customer-oriented individual! You are a relationship manager who knows how to build and manage relationships. You work a minimum of 3 days at our client's location in Waalwijk. The other days you can work from home or on location in Eindhoven. You have HBO level of thinking and you have affinity with commerce and transport!


Further:

  • You are an enthusiastic person who loves variety;
  • You preferably live in the vicinity of Waalwijk and you can come to Eindhoven once a week.
  • You have a businesslike and representative attitude;
  • You stand firmly on your feet and have very good communication skills. You have an excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
  • You speak Mandarin – this is a must seeing our high-end Chinese customer we have!
  • You are accurate in processing data and have good knowledge of computerized systems (SAP, Excel).
  • It goes without saying that you are customer-oriented and think in terms of possibilities; there is a solution for everything!
