DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driver to play a vital role in our tyre distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

**PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE INVOLVES THE MANUAL HANDLING OF VOLUMES OF AUTOMOTIVE TYRES**

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Role involves the manual handling and unloading of automotive tyres
• Covering start times between 06:00-08:00 - MUST be able to cover ALL start times
• Shift pattern - Monday to Friday
• Salary £40,157 based on a 48 hour week
• Up to 4-5 drops per day UK wide delivering to tyre wholesalers and retailers - manual handling involved!!
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 12 months commercial 'on the road' experience of driving LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) vehicles is preferred
• Duties involve manual handling, unloading of tyres, therefore candidates must understand the physicaility of the role
• Pass a CRB criminal record check
• Live near to Coventry, CV6 4QB (Prologis, Keresley)
