Responsibilities

• Manage solution design / Automation data requirements and address gaps to complete effective design of supply chain solutions and Automation.
• Design, development, and implementation of automation and robotics projects
• Prepare facility plans and equipment layouts to maximize efficiency and space usage.
• Identify and implement improvements in the areas of business activities related to warehouse facilities.
• Ensure cost effective selection and location of local facilities and material handling equipment.
• Ensure implementation of standard operating processes, work methods, performance/throughput standards and measurement systems by using measurement tools (time and motion studies, etc.).
• Facilitates creation of Solution Design work stream for complex projects with other functions (Ops, IT, Real Estate, HR).
• Data gathering & analysis and able to identify the critical data gaps and make credible assumptions based on reasonable benchmarks.
• Identify requirements for, and develop appropriate proprietary tools to support the solution design process where required; e.g. cost models, productivity tools, warehouse sizing, layout design, process design, etc.
• Build up comprehensive cost model to simulate total project budget.
• Prepare presentation materials for BD on the warehousing solution design section.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of experiences
• Understanding of Warehouse, transport and supply chain knowledge.
• Experiences in Logistics Automation is highly preferred.
• An advanced user of tools such as Microsoft Excel to perform complex data analysis.
• Experience in at least one modeling / simulation tool.
