We are looking for a Manager Data & Capacity Optimization based in Diegem, Belgium. The Manager Data & Capacity Optimization will be a pivotal member of our team, leveraging advanced data expertise to optimize revenue strategies and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, statistical modeling, and revenue management principles to drive data-informed decision-making that maximizes profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical background, proficiency in data manipulation, and a passion for transforming data into strategic insights.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
Advance Data Analytics
• Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for revenue enhancement.
• Develop and implement predictive models to forecast revenue performance and customer behavior, enabling proactive decision-making.
Revenue Optimization Strategies:
• Design and execute data-driven pricing strategies and revenue management frameworks that align with market dynamics and customer demand.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of pricing changes and market conditions on revenue outcomes.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing analytical findings, key performance indicators (KPIs), and actionable recommendations for senior management.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform revenue management strategies, identifying best practices and emerging trends.
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract insights from various data sources, including market reports, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within revenue management practices, leveraging data analytics to enhance efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics, incorporating innovative techniques and tools into revenue management processes.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry (Experience in RM is a plus).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
