Within DHL Express, the Brussels Hub is a 24/7 operational environment where service quality, speed and time are of the essence. Active in Belgium since 1985, we completed our move in the summer of 2017 to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility from which we play an essential role in the operational network of the most international company in the world.

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE?

• Lead technical teams, assign work orders and control their execution.
• Supervise, steer and control the technical operations during production.
• Support staff selection, personnel development and maintain training matrix.
• Plan and coordinate tasks within your area of responsibility as well as between the other departments.
• Implement and optimise work processes.
• Perform and coordinate activities using CMMS.
• Write work safety instructions and brief your teams.
• Produce reports and statistics.
• Receive and support subcontractors incl. documentation of work, appropriate functional checks and tests.

WHAT IS YOUR PROFILE?

• Higher education degree in electrics/electronics/mechanics or equivalent through experience with min. 3 years of relevant MSH-related experience.
• Min. 3 years of experience leading a team of technicians.
• Extensive knowledge of barcode reading technologies, sorter controls and visualisation systems.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
