Head of People Development & Learning (d/f/m)
- Manage and continuously improve the people development process including preparation of bi-annual People Development Conferences for both organizations and management of performance-related data (e.g., PowerBI Dashboards).
- Drive the adoption of a continuous feedback process including change management.
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs incl. reporting.
- Drive and improve various learning methods companywide (e.g., training catalog, coaching, online trainings, DHL Certified resources, external trainings) and develop partnerships with external training providers.
- Contribute to company-shaping initiatives in close collaboration with Consulting/Data & Analytics colleagues.
- Act as coach and advisor to employees regarding training and development planning.
- Develop and manage in-house training courses in cooperation with external providers.
- Plan and participate in selected internal trainings as a facilitator.
- Manage and advise resources supporting you in professional development and training execution.
- Monitor and evaluate trends on best practices to ensure the effectiveness and quality of our development and training processes.
- Support active talent management in co-operation with global Talent Managers and serve as a contact for employees in terms of DHL Group internal placement.
- Identify and lead projects aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes when needed.
- Develop and track the L&D budget including negotiating contracts.
- Advise management on internal communication/change management needs.
- University degree with outstanding academic results.
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience in the professional services sector, ideally as a consultant or as a Professional Development and Training Professional in consulting context.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in people development and learning; a coaching certification would be a plus.
- Experience in project management and proven ability to think creatively when developing new concepts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
- Strong team player and persuasive personality with the ability to quickly build rapport with employees, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for defining innovative approaches to enhance professional development and training practices.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); fluency in German is a plus.
- International work experience is desired.
