Shift patterns: Days , 6am start

Location: Culcavy, Hillsborough

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Service Delivery Colleague Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Delivers excellent customer service. Takes time to talk to customers. Appreciates what customers want and continuously strives to meet customer expectations.
• Works safely within the health, safety and environmental guidelines and insists others do the same. Strives to reduce the number of health and safety incidents involved in year on year
• Comply with local legislative requirements and Company policies and procedures
• Report any excesses, shortages or damages to supervisor in a timely manner
• Complete routine vehicle checks

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Valid HGV license Cat C
• HGV delivery experience
• C+E license desirable
• Upholds safe working practices and implements corrective actions where risks are observed
• Ensures that day to day operational activities are in line with local QMS/SOP requirements Understands corporate and customer requirements regarding security of people, goods and equipment
• Holds commercial vehicle license appropriate to role
• Has a comprehensive knowledge of the geography and road networks within the distribution area
• Works within appropriate legislative frameworks regarding driving hours, condition of vehicle, safety of load etc.
• Ability and Flexibility to work shifts
