Description

Responsibilities

  • To drive New Customer as Business Development, and oversee the overall management of retails/ consumer customer accounts.
  • Maintaining & enhancing business relationship with the customers; and to lead the responsible Business and Contract Management teams. 
  • Ensuring they are carrying out effective management of Resources, Performance, Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment, Quality, and Budgets.
  • Driving new opportunity and new customer in all areas of the Consumer Sector through High Quality New Contract Implementations and supporting of existing contracts.
  • Establishes and implements Supply Chain business strategies with direct impact on the objectives and on business results of own areas of responsibility.
  • Makes business and managerial decisions and recommendations in order to achieve business and financial results, prevent loss of partnership and eliminate the risk of substantial expenditures of time, human resources and/or funds.
  • Profitably grow, existing business within the DHL portfolio, developing strategies to leverage existing business relationships.
  • Be responsible and lead proactively the contract renewal process with existing customers.
  • Be responsible for driving initiatives to positively impact the customers logistics cost and service, where possible driving gain shares initiatives to positively impact DHL’s P&L.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in business development field.
  • At least 2 years of working experience as BD supervisory Level or Key Account in Logistics industry
  • Understanding of contract logistics business especially in 3PL in consumer and retail businesswould be a big advantage
  • Experienced in logistic analyst and business process improvement with background in customer relationship management.
  • Project management with strategic thinking skills
  • Cross-cultural management skills
  • Financial and budgeting skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent user in Microsoft Excel
  • Good presentation skill and ability to communicate in English and Thai well
