Driver Class 1

Pay Rate: £38,344.02
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday starting between 4am-8am
Location: Grimsby - DN30 3DQ

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Multi-drop delivery of goods to customer sites
• Manual handling of heavy goods (kegs of beer), into customers rooms of choice (i.e. down into cellars)
• This is a highly physically demanding role with a high amount of manual handling
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience but don't hesitate to apply if you don't tick every box on this page - we're great at spotting talent and potential in everyone:

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You will have at least 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience
• You must be happy with a highly physical role
