YOUR TASKS
  • Role purpose: Manage the OTC team effectively, including Credit Collection and Control, Query Handling and Billing Functions, in order to provide quality service to our customers while achieving timely customer payment in line with company targets.
  • Provide professional billing, query management, credit control, and debt collection services whilst maintaining good customer relations:
    - Ensure timely and error-free issuing of invoices.
    - Ensure timely follow-up of customers’ accounts and prompt payment of outstanding balances.
    - Ensure Customer Queries are handled with speed and accuracy.
    - Ensure we handle customer calls in line with agreed GOS and ACR targets.
    - Regular customer visits to maintain good relationships
  • Oversee credit management to ensure timely debt collection and to manage DSO in line with Global / Regional standards as per Network Finance Manual calculation.
  • Plan, organize, and direct an efficient/effective Query Handling Section to ensure that all queries are satisfactorily resolved within the agreed target time frame and standard.
  • Ensure the finance processes comply with global/regional standards and, where there are deviations, these are adequately substantiated.
  • Safeguard the integrity of the billing process to ensure complete capture of revenue.
  • Manage and ensure all receipts are handled on time & accurately so as to meet regional targets.
  • Work with the regional office to roll out global/regional programs.
  • Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility, and cost consciousness.
  • Identify training needs and career development opportunities to motivate and drive a high-performance team.
  • Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

YOUR PROFILE
  • 10 years relevant experience with 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the logistics/transportation industry or multinational companies
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Professional Accountancy qualification (CPA or equivalent)
  • Language Requirements: English Fluent (written and spoken)
