-Position: 1st Shift

-Shift: Mo-Fr 6:00 AM - 2:30PM

-Pay: $23.855 per hour

-Geographical Pay $3.00 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate may also possess the following skills: Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Quality Control,Material Handler, Loader / Unloader, Equipment Operator, Reach truck, Dock Stocker.

-Aminimum of 6 months - 1 year experience· Efficiently cover training that covers all aspects of forklift operation, including safety procedures, operational techniques, and maintenance. Deliver classroom lectures and hands-on training sessions to associates, covering such topics as Forklift types and uses; Safety Regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA); Pre-operational inspections; load handling and stability and driving techniques. Evaluating Trainees: assessing trainee skills and knowledge through testing, practical demonstrations, and observations to ensure they meet competency standards.· Certifications: Issue certifications or licenses to trainees who successfully complete the training program, ensuring they understand the responsibilities of operating a forklift.· Compliance: Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations regarding forklift operation and training to ensure training programs align with legal requirements. · Safety Protocols: Emphasize the importance of safety protocols, including the use of PPE, and communicate the consequences of unsafe behaviors. Monitoring and Feedback: Monitor trainees during operation to provide real-time feedback and coaching, ensuring correct techniques and safe practices are followed. Provide ongoing training and re-certification sessions for operators to keep their skills up to date and address any changes in regulations or equipment. · Incident reporting: Investigate any accident or near misses involving forklift, analyzing root causes, and suggesting training improvements to prevent future incidents. Work with supervisors and safety to identify training needs, schedule training sessions, and support safety initiatives within the workplace. Foster a positive safety culture by encouraging communication about safety practices, concerns, and ideas for improvement. · Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.

-Aminimum of 6 month’s experienceusing a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is highly preferred.

Role Purpose:

Training and evaluation of associates on MHE and classroom instructions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Present training to associates and effectively communicate will all Associates
• Evaluate Associate’s RPM on ramp up form and create steps for success
• Assist with creating work reference guide.
• Effective initial training and cross training of associates and outside workers (Labor Share Associates, vendors, etc.)
• Support operations as needed by leadership
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Certify Associates for MHE
• Actively participate in the YOBE process
• Create system login for all Associates (SeeIT, JDA, etc.)
• Updating on company goals and procedures.
• Identify training needs
• Conduct BBS observations
• Participate in Safety Committee

Required Education and Experience:

• Related technical experience
• MHE experience(sit down forklift and pallet jack)
• MHE experience(stand up forklift, reach truck, clamp, and slip), preferred
• Scrubber, preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
