Job Title: Operations In-Charge Job Summary: We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Operations In-Charge to oversee and manage day-to-day operations at the site. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, optimize processes, and achieve operational excellence by meeting KPIs and SLAs. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, team leadership, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities 1. Daily Operations Management: • Supervise and manage all daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time. • Address operational bottlenecks and resolve issues promptly. 2. Team Supervision: • Lead and guide a team of operational staff, ensuring high productivity and adherence to company policies. • Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge. 3. Resource Planning & Allocation: • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands, including manpower, materials, and equipment. • Ensure optimal utilization of available resources to reduce costs. 4. Performance Monitoring: • Monitor and ensure achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). • Identify gaps in performance and implement corrective measures. 5. Process Optimization: • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. • Implement best practices and innovative solutions for operational excellence. 6. Compliance & Safety: • Ensure all site operations adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. • Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety audits. 7. Inventory & Asset Management: • Oversee stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely replenishment. • Maintain and ensure proper usage of company assets and equipment. 8. Reporting & Analysis: • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review. • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making. 9. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services. 10. Cost Management: • Monitor and manage operational costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. Qualifications & Skills • Educational Background: • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. • Experience: • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in operations or a similar role, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or FMCG sectors. • Key Competencies: • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Proficiency in using operational tools and software (e.g., WMOS, SAP, MS Excel). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Additional Preferences: • Experience in managing large teams and complex operations. • Knowledge of lean practices, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
