Responsibilities
1. Partnership Management and Governance
- Serve as SPOC: Act as the primary point of contact for our China partnership, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across relevant stakeholders.
- Manage Service Agreements: Oversee the execution and management of all service agreements and ensure all commitments are met.
- Coordinate Contractual Matters: Support in the negotiation, validation, and renewal of all partnership-related contracts, including those concerning procurement, legal, and other relevant departments.
- Escalation Management: Proactively manage partnership-related escalations and address issues promptly, providing fact-based recommendations for resolution.
- ExCom and SPO Meetings: Organize, prepare, and present materials for regular Executive Committee (ExCom) meetings
2. Compliance and Controlling
- Data Protection: Act as the Data Protection Personnel for DSC China Team, ensuring that data privacy and protection regulations are adhered to.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to the Partnership Code of Conduct and perform audits as necessary. Ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Brand Protection: Safeguard DHL’s brand and trademarks related to supply chain operations in China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
3. Planning & Development and Strategic Projects
- Partnership Development: Identify and implement ideas to add value to our partnerships
- Support Strategic Development: Assist in scoping, planning, and managing strategic development projects, including market assessments, SWOT analysis, due diligence, business case analysis (BCA), and stakeholder management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in managing strategic partnerships, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior management, partners, and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of commercial agreements, contract
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in China, Hong Kong, and Macau (Data Security Law, Anti-Trust, etc.).
- Ability to analyze and provide strategic insights based on market intelligence.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
