Resource Planner

Pay Rate: £28,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 5 on 3 off - 6am - 6pm
Location: Heathrow - TW6 2GA

We're seeking a Resource Planner to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Work closely with internal departments, looking at engagement standards and resource output from these standards
• Ensure delivery windows are met and any changes communicated through the Heathrow operations team and to all colleagues impacted
• Liaise with all operational departments to ensure plan met demand
• Work collaboratively with other relevant DHL contracts / divisions
• Work with site teams to ensure the optimised plan is delivered
• Plan load schedules making best use of skill & resource where possible, utilising inform planning and rostering systems to maximise staff utilisation and ensure coverage of all flights
• Maintaining all inform databases for Planning and Rostering
• Advise on changes required to improve efficiency

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Resilience to a high-pressured airport environment
• Good IT skills e.g. Excel, Microsoft
• Excellent communications skills - verbal and written
• A strategic and analytical individual who strives to deliver the best possible results
• Previous experience in a similar role – desirable

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
• Be able to provide five years address history
• Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
• To obtain a full airside ID
• Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
