About the role:
You're a member of ASMO’s board of management and the Operations Leadership Team in EMEA. You will lead and drive the Operations Excellence (OE) function, ensuring the successful implementation of the OE agenda and thereby supporting ASMO in achieving overall business objectives. You will influence decision-making and lead transformation initiatives to improve profitability in a faced-pace environment, while ensuring highest focus and compliance to standards for safety, security, quality, regulatory and environment. You will contribute to establishing ASMO as the preferred choice in Supply Chain Solutions that delivers on customer promises.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the Operations Excellence (OE) agenda and roadmap in alignment with ASMO strategic priorities and management board
- Lead end-to-end customer implementations and ensure seamless project delivery of start-ups by driving cross-functional collaboration, applying project management tools and proactively implementing OE initiatives
- Foster a strong Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) culture by embedding health, safety, security, and environmental excellence into daily operations, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and a safe working environment for all
- Lead GP improvement initiatives, focusing on site development and optimizing operational performance
- Drive standardization & digitalization by setting new policies, driving adoption of best practices and lead initiatives in innovation, automation, and sustainability
- Influence & inspire key stakeholders from Senior Management to our warehouse colleagues to continuously drive measurable improvements
- Lead and develop the OE team, focusing on succession planning and performance enhancement
- Champion change management ensuring successful business launches and enhancing the customer experience
- Ensure accurate management reporting and utilize data insights to drive operational improvements and meet OE targets
Your Qualification:
If you are passionate about operational excellence and want to lead transformative initiatives in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you. Ideally you possess the following qualifications
- Inspirational Leader: Experience in operational line management within the logistics industry. Ability to execute strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional teams managing relationships across internal and external organizational levels
- Continuous Improvement Champion: Expertise in lean methodology with strong operational experience, preferably Six Sigma and/or OMS First Choice certified. Proven skills in core Operational Excellence disciplines such as health & safety, quality, or environmental management are a plus
- Experienced Project Manager: Proven track record in customer implementations, demonstrating advanced project management skills. Preferably certified in Depict or PMI methodologies
- Exceptional Communicator: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas, inspire teams, influence decisions, and foster alignment among diverse stakeholders
- Proactive self-starter: Hands-on mentality and driven to take initiative and deliver results
