About us

Create and Develop Transport Solution Design at opportunity stage, implementation and existing solutions that require optimization

Responsibilities

• Collect and collate data relating to transport operations and facilitate the transfer of best practicess across the region from personal experience or experience within DHL
• Identify requirements for, and develop appropriate proprietaryt tools to support the solution design process where required specif to but not limited to transport cost modelling, GP Analysis,
• Adhere to the requiremnts of country, regional and DHL corporate policies at all times
• Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to internal / customers. Participate in customer presentations where required
• Actively seek to understand and include Transport GoGreen solutions. Aim to reduce carbon footprint for customer and DHL exisitng operations
• Actively seek to understand and apply innovation be it to fleet or technology
• Reengineering of unprofitable operations

Requirements

Functional Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Solution Design related to Transport Management
• Knowledge of Transportation, logistics and broader supply chain
• Exposure to modeling of complex domestic transport network logistics / transport Operations
• Advance user of tools such as microsoft excel to perform complex data analysis, Experience in other modelling tools is an advantage


Education / Qualification / Certification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any related field i.e. engineering, supply chain, applied mathematics, economics etc.
• Self-motivated and strong analytical/problem solving skills. Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively
• Commercially astute / Business Acumen
