APPRENTICE

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our Freight Forwarding team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent university graduates who are passionate about logistics and eager to learn the intricacies of airfreight and ocean freight operations. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in supporting the export and import processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of shipping documentation for airfreight and ocean freight exports and imports.
- Support the coordination of shipments, including booking cargo space and liaising with carriers.
- Learn to track and trace shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operational processes.
- Participate in training sessions to develop knowledge of industry regulations, customs requirements, and best practices in logistics.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate records and databases related to shipments and inventory.
- Assist in customer service activities, responding to inquiries and providing updates on shipment status.
Requirements:
- Recent university graduate (within the last year) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Passion for logistics and a desire to learn about freight forwarding operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to take on challenges and seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
