We are the captive Shared Service Provider for DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight (DGFF). We are an organization of more than 5300 colleagues complemented by approximately 500 virtual FTE (i.e., bots applied in process automation). Our colleagues are based across six service delivery centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Chengdu, Manila, Bogota & Budapest. You will interact with people from all over the world and get the chance to a truly international organization.
In this role, you will be managing End-To-End Projects for Business Partner / Customers as a Project Manager for coordinating on Fuel Surchage related activities. Implement Project Management plans and processes to successfully deliver projects while meeting the cost, timescale, and quality parameters in line with overall business objectives and needs, Group guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem solving/data analytics: Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills in order to analyze/understand, simulate and explain complex business scenarios in a structured/coherent manner to senior management. Proficient in request management and prompt response
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills: Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, content owners, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality reports and enhancements that meet business needs.
- Monitor crude oil / jet fuel price fluctuation, analyze financial market and geological tensions impact, study airlines’ behaviour and FSC updates vs jet fuel price fluctuation
- Develop, validate, implement and maintain simplified fuel surcharge methodologies for all global RFQs
- Evaluation of risk and exposure on the customer requirement for FSC topic in the global RFQs
- Manage the GSC Mumbai FSC Team for Airfreight Fuel Surcharge Methodologies’ maintenance process for central updates on a monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly basis.
- Take responsibility for revenue leakage / financial loss avoidance.
- Define, implement an manintain the ratecard loading process for all global ratecards
- Consult / propose FSC methodologies as per engagement with HoP / COM / customers (regular calls with customer explaining our proposed mechanisms) during the RFQ phase
- Study airline behaviour and updates related to FSC in relation to jet fuel price changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop, validate, implement, and maintain simplified fuel surcharge methodologies applicable to all global RFQs.
- Strategic Thinking: Actively contributes to the development of an overall AFR reporting and steering strategy, aligning reporting initiatives with the broader goals and objectives of AFR.
- Good understanding of airfreight market trends and strong network in the forwarding industry, the AFR organization and related DPDHL departments.
- Take responsibility for identifying and mitigating revenue leakage and financial losses associated with FSC.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor´s degree (any)
- Strong knowledge on Air Freight Products
- Project management experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Air Freight domain within the logistics industry
- Excellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills
- Already practicing Agile or equivalent Project Management methodology
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
- Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication
