Executive, Cross Border Trucking (Contract)

Seeking a highly organized individual to join our team as an Executive, Cross Border Trucking. In this role, he/she will play a crucial part in supporting the operation side of the Industrial Projects Department day to day task. Responsibilities will include as follow:-

Job description:

• Support of transportation and logistics arrangements for MY, SG, and TH
• Support current cross-border shipment for DGP IP Client
• Transport planning on console shipment (vise Versa Ex-MY-SIN-TH)
• Well knowledge on Singapore customs permit declaration (ME/II/OO/OD/IT/IG)
• To ensure the Singapore permit is well maintained and generate a report for II/OO permit movement
• Open File in CW1 (Cargowise)
• Coordinate shipment process with customer, vendor, and brokerage department
• Update trucking optimization report on a daily basis.
• Ability to work independently with good discipline and a positive work attitude
• Build positive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Adhere to company's procedures and reporting protocol.
• Work closely with the internal customer service team, transporter, customer, logistics, and end user to update shipment progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in any field from a reputable and recognized university.

• Highly motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Possess initiative and good analytical ability.
• Fluent in English; reading, writing and spoken.
• Required skills: good communication and interpersonal skills; endless drive and energy to learn with the ability to adapt to a new environment.
• Demonstrate a positive mindset and attitude.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company.
• This position is to be based in USJ, Selangor
