Participate in one-on-one conversations with the College Recruit Development Manager
Each college recruit that joins DHL Supply Chain will have a dedicated resource for their first two years with the company. This resource not only helps with the transition from university to a fulltime role, but also assists with development throughout the college recruit’s time in role.
Attend College Recruit Training Week
College Recruits are required to attend the Training Week within their first year of full-time employment. During the training we cover the Frontline Operational Leadership curriculum that is complimentary to many Certified courses and its geared towards supporting College Recruit’s transition into their first role in the organization.

Receive monthly newsletters
Each college recruit will receive a monthly newsletter providing business updates, development topics and DEIB topics. The newsletter ensures that our college recruits stay informed on what is going on in the business.
Opportunity to connect with tenured peers
Each college recruit has the opportunity for a connected peer which is a college recruit that has been with DHL 2+ years be to assist with navigating the organization through 1-on-1 conversations
Engage with virtual learning
Quarterly webinars are hosted and focus on topics to accelerate the college recruit’s development and provide resources for topics of interest, such as utilizing a 401K, enrolling in benefits and taking care of personal mental health in the workplace.

"I am thrilled to share my college recruit journey at DHL Supply Chain, which began in 2016 as an Operations Supervisor. I have since had the opportunity to work at multiple sites in various NorAm regions within the eCommerce sector holding roles as a Production Planning Manager and most recently as a General Manager at the ASOS account. Each role has provided me with unique experiences and opportunities for growth made possible by DHL’s commitment towards career development.
Staying actively involved in the college recruiting program has been a continued priority in addition to my day-to-day responsibilities. My involvement in the recruitment process, mentoring interns and college recruits, and as an Intern Capstone Sponsor has not only proved to be a rewarding way to share my experience and knowledge with our future leaders but to learn and gain perspective from the next generation of talent at DHL.
Throughout my 8 plus years with DHL, I have seen a relentless commitment from the organization towards providing diverse career paths, investing in learning and development, and creating a culture that fosters personal and professional growth. This commitment, coupled with the support of the incredible network of DHL colleagues I have worked with over the years has played a major role in my journey thus far. I am both excited to continue to expand this network with the next generation of talent at DHL and confident that the future is bright at DHL Supply Chain."

"I stumbled upon DHL at a career fair as a senior in college eleven years ago trying to waste ten minutes waiting for my roomate to talk to another insurance vendor. The recruiters were so natrually engaging, that I was in an informal interiew before I even knew it.
Fast forward to getting a position as an operations supervisor and starting at my first site, I was set up with a mentor who took the time to listen to me, as a young, female leader in a new world that I was trying to confidently navigate. They dedicated time each month to spend with me and I looked forward to those meetings every time, excited to share what I had learned or accomplished. Having that mentor created my first off-site network, which eventually led to my second site, promotions, etc and continued to grow my skill set and network as a whole.

"I have had so many great opportunities since joining DHL NorAm out of the College Recruiting Program back in 2017. After getting my grounding with the company at the site level as a supervisor, I was blessed with the opportunity to travel across the country aiding continuous improvement, supporting site start up and uplifts, and helping drive digitalization and standardization across the various networks. Those experiences and relationships have molded me into the leader I am today.
As I have grown through the company, I have been presented an opportunity to help support the growth of the College Recruiting and Internship Programs.
