Job Description – Data Analyst
· Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. · Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems and reports. · Creation of dashboards and presentations as per customer requirements. · Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into logistics performance, operational efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Present findings to management and stakeholders, highlighting trends and areas for improvement. · Manage and organize large datasets related to shipments, warehousing, inventory, and transportation. · Visualize logisticsdata using charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively communicate performance and areas for improvement. · Monitor access to sensitive information and implement safeguards as necessary. He/ She will be responsible for timely & accurate data reporting for all the division/areas of work. · Prepare reports as per agreed formats and share with customer at agreed frequency. · He/ She must understand the data being worked on to do analysis and highlight any area of concern. · Prepare monthly deck and monthly meet presentations. · Add value in doing analysis, bring in ideas for improvement, and highlight outliers through MIS & reports. · Provide additional reports or cater to additional data as and when required. · Monitor access to sensitive information and implement safeguards as necessary. · Ensure customer expectations are met thus leading to overall customer satisfaction.

Key capabilities/ Competencies
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex logistics data clearly. · Customer-facing and interaction skills (excellent). · Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when dealing with large volumes of logistics data. · Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. · Flexible in working for various shifts and able to handle work pressure. · Works cooperatively with others to achieve target and objectives. · Accomplishes own tasks in support of team goals and actively offers to help colleagues. · Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. · Provides both verbal and written information in a timely, clear and concise manner. Expresses ideas effectively, adjusting style, tools and mode to the needs of others. Listens attentively, and summarizes or asks questions, when needed, to clarify information. |
