Brief overview of role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Functions Controlling Intern to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the financial reporting process, engage with cross-functional teams, and contribute to enhancing our reporting capabilities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and controlling within a global logistics leader.

Your Key Accountabilities Include: 

• Support with updates and quality assurance of financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Engage with the wider controlling team to provide context and analysis for reports and presentations, enhancing decision-making processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Controlling and Finance Business Partners to support activities directed towards functional management.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions and provide insights for strategic initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for stakeholders across the organization.

What We Are Looking for From You: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Economics or a related field, demonstrating a strong interest in finance and controlling.
• Comfortable working with numbers and data analysis, showing a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to engage with various stakeholders and communicate findings effectively.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on improving processes and reporting capabilities.
• Fluency in English is desirable, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
