Built in 2023, DHL Coventry is the first operationally carbon-neutral new-build site in the UK. Powered entirely by renewable electricity, it features 900,000 sq ft of high-capacity operating space and smart automation including autonomous cleaning robots, mobile wrapping robots, and dimensioning systems, helping make our colleagues’ lives easier.

Sustainability at the core
Our DHL Coventry warehouse is a great place to work, and we’re proud to say it’s completely carbon neutral. Sustainability is built into every part of the site, from the 3,000 solar panels and onsite battery storage that help power our operations, to the air source heat pumps that save over 135 tonnes of CO₂ every year. We’ve also invested in electric MHE and shunt vehicles to reduce emissions even further.
To support greener travel, there are 136 bike spaces for those who cycle to work as well as electric vehicle charging points.
