Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
To develop and design supply chain solutions for complexity level 2 & 3 projects and:
- Manage agreement to key business characteristics, assumptions & risks with customer & internal stakeholders
- Manage solution design deliverables as work stream leader & manage critical path tasks, risks, issues and mitigations
- Validate customer solutions are based on existing benchmarks & best practice
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing to support "future proofing" of proposed solutions
- Develop and present compelling & competitive customer value based proposals ensuring that Accelerate principles have been applied.
Key Accountabilities
- To be the country SME in specific solutions design skills and sector-specific skills/ tools
- To lead and mentor the assigned SD team members on specific skills/ project needs
- To lead/ support the SD workstream in the pursuit of new business/ renewal of existing
- Provision of solutions/ analytical support for implementation/ re-engineering needs for key/ strategic projects as assigned
- To establish optimal costing/ commercialisation for New/ Existing business
- Engage and work closely with operations team on implementation of assigned projects
- Engage and work closely with BD and sector team on proposing solution design needs
- Championed assigned practise/ solution subject matter expertise- build depths via research and application, team development & training, engagement on relevant projects
- Outline solutions and commercial proposals in appropriate formats for presentation to internal / customers. Participate in customer presentations where required
- Develop and maintain good and effective communication across the business
- Actively seek to understand and apply innovation be it facility, fleet, technology or safety to solutions
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in solution design, automated warehouse solutions or operational experience in contract logistics, supply chain industry
- Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in relevant discipline
- Understanding of solution design tools, techniques and procedures
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- An advanced user of tools such as Microsoft Excel to perform complex data analysis
- Fluent in English
