Finance Director

Position: Finance Director – Greater China

Location: Shanghai, PRC

Scope includes: Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan

Reporting to:  CFO, APAC

Size of team: 5-6

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver achievable budgets and forecast
• within HG/DHL group
• performance
• proactively engage with /challenge functional counterparts to ensure budget delivery (profit, working capital, cash flow, net debt)
• Act as expert point of contact for all financial performance related questions by Group
• Greater China entities
• Identify local tax optimization opportunities and support implementation of corresponding group tax strategy
• Establish/improve all appropriate accounting, treasury, controlling and related structures and processes to comply with statutory and group requirements in terms of reporting quality and deadlines
• Ensure relevant finance and reporting systems are implemented/updated and maintain data integrity
• Ensure the group’s standardized finance processes are implemented and applied efficiently according to SOPs, and staff trained

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant finance experience gained in a international environment Ideally in a logistics environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, coupled with accounting qualification
• Sound technical accounting acumen
• Proven experience in the set-up, further improvement and leadership of finance teams
