Pricing Manager, IPBC
Description
The IPBC Trade Pricing Manager primarily focus on pricing and capacity procurement, with the goal of boost the business volume and ensuring competitive pricing strategies in the (IPBC) Trade Lane.
Main responsibilities
•Pricing Strategy and Analysist
➢Develop and execute pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness in the IPBC Trade Lane.
➢Conduct market analysis, monitor competitor pricing, and identify pricing trends and opportunities.
➢Analyze customer demand, cost structures, and market dynamics to recommend pricing adjustments and initiatives.
•Capacity Procurement and Management:
➢Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to procure and manage capacity for the IPBC Trade Lane.
➢Negotiate contracts and agreements with carriers, vendors, and service providers to secure optimal capacity at competitive rates.
➢Monitor capacity utilization, identify gaps or surpluses, and take proactive measures to optimize capacity allocation.
•Financial Analysis and Performance Tracking:
➢Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators, including revenue, costs, and profitability in the IPBC Trade Lane.
➢Provide regular reports and insights on pricing performance, capacity utilization, and financial trends to senior management.
➢Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency improvements.
•Pricing Tools and Systems
➢Utilize pricing tools and systems to manage and update pricing information, rate structures, and contracts.
➢Collaborate with relevant departments to enhance pricing systems and ensure accurate and efficient pricing processes.
•Cross-functional Collaboration
➢Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
➢Provide guidance and support to sales teams in pricing negotiations and customer proposals.
➢ Work with operations teams to ensure capacity availability and optimize service
quality.

Other Requirements

➢ Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the OFR forwarding industry.
➢ Extensive carrier contacts
➢ Working experience in shipping line/forwarder on IPBC trade is preferred.
