Scope of Role Warehouse handler/Forklift Operator Screening and Cargo Handling
Days & Hours Monday – Friday within a Range of 9.00am to 7.30pm
Key Accountabilities: Airline Screening and ULD Pallet building Cargo Handling
- Must have a current IAA Approved Cargo handling Qualification.
- Working in a Life Science environment an advantage.
- Air Security trained.
- Load & Offload Airline Cargo, mark manifests and notify discrepancies and damages.
- Complete any warehouse related documentation for the Air operations team.
- Ensures all warehouse related tasks are performed in the Air freight application in DHL systems (Cargo wise),Thermonet and,FSI
- Ensures all physical barcode scanning is performed as required.
- Seal trailers and note seal numbers on Inbound and outbound Cargo. Known Cargo seal process on imports and exports.
- Ensures good housekeeping daily as per checklist.
- Monitors day to day H&S in the warehouse and highlight areas of concern.
- Facilitates customer & quality audits.
- Work closely with the team lead to manage trailer capacity and check in Drivers within a high security warehouse.
- When trailers are loaded/offloaded make sure that both manifest sheets are marked with any discrepancies and sign the manifest.
- Ensures that all health and safety guidelines and procedures are kept to. Also, that all team members or anyone entering the warehouse has full PPI with Safety first at all times
- Participate in the implementation of operational processes and perform work to the standards of Good Distribution practice (GDP) for Life Science business, as required.
- Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme.

Skills / Qualifications:
- Expected years of experience (Minimum) - At least two years in a similar role
- Expected Qualifications - Fork lift Counter Balance license, IAA Certified screening Agent,IAA Security trained, leaving Certificate a min requirement
