The team’s purpose is to unleash the power of data science, drive cross-divisional AI solutions, foster a data-driven culture, and accelerate digitalization within DHL Group. As part of our work, the team is responsible for creating and maintaining robust data platforms and data pipelines to ensure accurate and efficient data processing and analysis. The team embraces diversity with over 20 nationalities represented and a 30% female workforce, fostering collaboration and the pursuit of excellence.
- Practical experience in Kubernetes (Kustomize, Helm) and Python programming
- Willingness to deepen programming and especially automation skills in Python and Bash
- Routine experience with common Python tooling like uv, pip, Conda, pyenv etc.
- Learn and apply CI/CD and automation best practices with tools like GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Terraform, Helm etc.
- Work with Kubernetes on various levels and on multiple platforms (on-premises, Azure, GCP)
- Manage authentication with Istio and oauth2-proxy and users in Azure Active Directory
- Immerse yourself deeply in OCI image building and automation with Taskfiles
- Create metrics and dashboards with Prometheus and Grafana
- Dive into Kubernetes security, scheduling,and GPUs for LLMs
- Experience with the large ecosystem of data science and ML related libraries and components like scikit-learn, pandas, polars, pytorch, rust to understand the data scientists needs.
- Collaboration with infrastructure teams
- Any open source or proprietary ML lifecycle management tooling and platforms such as Google Vertex AI, MLFlow, Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker, Databricks, Dataiku, …
- Additional programming languages and frameworks such as Go, Streamlit, Ray, React Angular, Airflow, Ray and Spark
